3-Day Tsavo West & East Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Scenic Drive & Afternoon Game Drive
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up in Nairobi (hotel, airport, or residence). Travel through Kenya’s stunning countryside and the Great Rift Valley, pausing for scenic photos along the way.
Arrive at your Masai Mara camp/lodge in time for lunch. After check-in, head out on your first afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich reserves. Spot lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and more.
Drive Time: ~5–6 hours
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: Safari Camp or Lodge in Masai Mara
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara – Big Cats, Elephants & Migration
Wake early for a full-day safari experience in the Masai Mara National Reserve. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll spend the entire day tracking wildlife across diverse terrains, from open savannah to riverbanks.
If traveling between July–October, you may witness the Great Migration – as over a million wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.
Optional: Book a Hot Air Balloon Safari at sunrise followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. (Must pre-book.)

Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi – Return
After breakfast, check out and Depart Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route.
