FAQs on Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli Safari (4 Days, 3 Nights)
This 4-day, 3-night safari takes you through some of Kenya’s most iconic national parks—Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli. Expect to see a wide range of wildlife, including:
- The Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino)
- Large herds of red elephants (unique to Tsavo)
- Hippos and crocodiles at Mzima Springs (Tsavo West)
- Breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli
- Over 400 bird species, including flamingos and eagles
You'll experience game drives in open savannahs, volcanic landscapes, and acacia woodlands, making it a truly diverse safari.
The best time for this safari is during the dry seasons:
- June to October (cooler and great for wildlife spotting)
- December to March (hot but excellent for game viewing)
During the dry months, animals gather around water sources, making them easier to spot. However, the green season (April-May, November) offers lush landscapes and fewer crowds, though wildlife may be more spread out.
You can choose from a variety of accommodations, including:
- Luxury lodges (e.g., Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, Amboseli Serena Lodge)
- Tented camps (comfortable, en-suite, and in prime locations)
- Budget camps (basic but clean and comfortable)
Each option provides a unique experience, whether you prefer luxury or adventure.
