As soon as you enter the park, the landscape transforms:

Day 2 — Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park

Enter the Endless Plains

After breakfast, drive toward the legendary Serengeti. The journey takes you through the green highlands of Karatu and onto the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you stop for breathtaking photos.

As you cross into Serengeti, the landscape opens into golden grasslands dotted with acacia trees — the famous Serengeti Plains.

What you’ll see today:

  • Elephants wandering through acacia woodlands

  • Giraffes feeding on umbrella trees

  • Lions lounging on kopjes

  • Thousands of wildebeest, gazelles & zebras

Arrive at your camp in time for sunset — one of the Serengeti’s most magical moments.

Day 3 — Full Day Serengeti Safari

Tracking the Big Five & The Great Migration

Wake early for a dawn game drive — when predators are most active. Your guide follows fresh tracks in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas preparing for a hunt.

Depending on the season, you may witness:
The Great Wildebeest Migration — tens of thousands moving across the plains
Cheetah hunts on the open savanna
Large Serengeti lion prides
 Elephants & buffalos
 Huge zebra herds

Today, you’ll enjoy a full day of uninterrupted wildlife viewing, with a picnic lunch under a shady acacia tree.

Return to your lodge at sunset with unforgettable memories.

Visit Olduvai Gorge + Maasai Encounters

Today you depart Serengeti with a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Along the way, stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites on Earth, known as the Cradle of Mankind, where early hominid fossils dating back 1.9 million years were discovered.

Optional: Visit a Maasai boma to experience traditional culture, dances, and storytelling.

Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim with sweeping views of this ancient caldera.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge / Rhino Lodge / Lions Paw Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5 — Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

  • Black rhinos

  • Lions & cheetahs

  • Elephants & buffalos

  • Hippos & zebras

  • Flamingos & jackals

This is one of the few places where you can reliably spot all Big Five in a single day.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before continuing your afternoon drive.

Afterward, drive to Tarangire for your final night.

Accommodation: Tarangire Safari Lodge / Baobab Tented Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
